Customer Reviews

Here's what some of our customers have said about working with us.

Ideal Roofing is truly a 5-star operation! The owners, Rosendo and Tia Cruz, were very easy to work with, professional, polite, thorough, detailed, answered all of my questions. Rosendo and his helper installed a replacement opening skylight. They did an amazing job, very close attention to the smallest details, fast, efficient installation, great cleanup afterwards, all at a fair price. We will certainly hire them when our roof needs to be replaced. And BTW, Rosendo made excellent suggestions about roof replacement in Sudden Valley, Bellingham. He's very knowledgeable and very experienced. He is also bilingual, fluent Englsh and Spanish. I *highly* recommend Ideal Roofing.

They were referred by a local realtor. The estimate needed adjusted due to needing more plywood replaced, and additional truss repairs that none of the other estimates by other roofers addressed, but they had. But more were discovered when the bad plywood was pulled. The dips and valleys on the roof were straightened and look very good. The gutters were installed by another subcontractor that did a good job as well. I would recommend Ideal Roofing. They are a family business. The materials that they used were great quality. I would highly recommend them. Tia would likely be your first contactl

I very rarely ever leave a review. But in this case I must. Rosendo and his crew are professional, highly skilled and on top of every detail. We had a challenging roof to repair and replace including rotten fascia boards, etc. Our new roof not only looks good, but I know it’s been expertly installed. One thing that mattered to us while we were getting estimates was that Rosendo only runs one crew. He’s present every day, all day. Also, his pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I discovered a leak. I called 2-3 roofing companies and realized they don't fix leaks, only full roofs. I didn't have money available for a full roof. I called Ideal roofing (a mom answers phone with kids and dog in the background...I kinda liked this small family business feel) and they said they might be able to work something out for us, and would come take a look. That's what I needed to hear! He found several soft spots...more issues coming soon....new roof needed...it would be guaranteed. He gave free estimate, but also advice on how we could DIY leak till we got a new roof someday. When we got the funds, I called that mom (business secretary) back and set up an apt. Roof was done in 2 days with happy guys listening to their music and getting er done! No mess. They found more rot than expected, but fixed it up and mended a corner siding on our house, while keeping cost down for us. Integrity, family feel, kindness, and timely.

Rosendo & Tia are great people; professional, prompt, friendly, & fast. They use *high quality materials (Malarkey Roofing Products) & gave me multiple options during my initial quote.

I have a 1400' sq. home that Rosendo & his team were able to complete in a little over a day. That included teardown, re-roof, & transitioning from standard roof vents to an upgraded ridge vent. As per my luck, their supplier happened to not have the color of shingle I wanted in the style we discussed during my quote, but Ideal Roofing went above & beyond & was able to deliver the next tier up shingle (in my color) & didn't charge me extra for it. They also discovered some rotted boards on my roof during teardown & fixed that as well with no extra charge to me. His team was very polite, prompt, & fast during their work & were able to beat the weather, as we're coming into the rainy season. The job site was very clean afterwards as well; the team spent a good amount of time just cleaning up after the roof was completed. I will be using Ideal Roofing for any related job(s) in the future & I can't recommend them enough. Thanks guys!

Awesome experience. Got a fair quote. Had a friend of mine who is a GC look the quote over and said that is exactly what he would do. Showed up at 7am, had a big enough crew to get the work done in a single day. After they cleaned up, you couldn't even tell they were here.....except for the gorgeous new roof. Anyone who needs some roof work done. You can't go wrong with them. Local family owned business. Excellent quality.

Ideal did a complete replacement of our 28 year old roof. It was a praiseworthy effort and we are happy we selected them to do the work. The crew was polite, very neat and extremely efficient, and the owner was always on site to answer any questions. The price was very competitive and all work was first class. We highly recommend Ideal!
